Part of the fun of painting is sharing with others who get excited about art.  That's why I enjoy teaching. There's a joy in watching  someone else "learn to see."   One of my students said, "Since I've been taking art, I have started  to really appreciate the sky."  I wanted to shout, "yes!"  And I can say that once I started teaching art, I've had more drive to be a better artist.
