I have been invited to present an oil pastel demonstration to the Southern Piedmont Artists Guild. I will introduce techniques of the medium and the pros and cons of different substrates. Oil pastel is a versatile medium for both studio and plein air work.
SPAG meets at the Benton Heights Presbyterian Church, 2701 Concord Hwy (601 N)
The Southern Piedmont Artists Guild meets in Monroe on 2nd Tues each month Sept to May.

I'm excited to announce my solo exhibit of oils, pastels, and oil pastels. I have Carolina roots, and the beauty of the Carolinas and the activities and people I've appreciated here are featured in many of the works.
I have also been privilege to visit Alaska where my son lives. Several of the paintings were done from that experience. Alaska is a magical state and has won a place in my heart.
